Another reason why people should get the death penalty is because when you look at it, giving them life in jail is not going to do any good because they are going to have to die some day. So why give them the death penalty and get it over with??? The opposing team thinks that its a easy way out, but it’s not. If the murder kills someone and does not get life in jail and he gets out, there is a possibility that he can go out and kill people again. I am not saying that people can not change there lives after being released from prison but there is a 50-50 chance.

In this debate, I learned how to be a strong supporter in what I believed in and to give great evidence to support my opinions. I also learned how look at the others person perspective on things.

There has been cases were in most people think that the swine flu is a seasonally virus, but according to Kawaoka, a professor of pathobiological sciences at the UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine and a leading authority on influenza, this is untrue. Once your lungs are filled with fluid, it is almost impossible to breath! How is that for deadly virus?! Studies show that the antiviral drug that exist now, can slow down the spreading of this virus.

Up until now, I have participated in extra curriculum activities such as cheerleading, ROTC, student government, and bowling.  I have worked with the DC Housing Authority and last year, I was an intern at DC Youth Advisory Council, influencing change in the District, meaning that young people throughout the District have an official ongoing voice in the policies and programs.  I have volunteered working with daycare children and as a camp volunteer.  When I graduate from college my profession will be as an elementary school teacher.

One problem about myspace is, not to many people want to give important people or family their myspace url because of what they post.  On myspace if you do not give people the direct link to your blog, it is going to be almost impossible to find it by regularly searching for it.  If  you are interested in social networking with other people more so than professional blogging, myspace is for you.

If  you were given a list of blogs to search on the website, and one of  the blogs was about dogs or cars, you would not get much information on that topic. Instead, you would receive blogs more so on sex or boyfriend and girlfriend type blogging.  After activating your myspace account you proceed to make a profile info, backgrounds, change colors or fonts, or input HTML OR CSS codes.  You can also have applications like games, surveys, pictures, etc.  This part is a new addition to the site.

Myspace values the privacy setting on their website. You have to be at least 14 years of age to join myspace.  However, I find this to be untrue because there are alot of kids today, that join the website and are under the age of  14.  You even have men who are perverts on the website.  Myspace and I am sure that most social networking or blogging website, you can lie about your age.  So even though that myspace values their privacy settings, it’s still not enough to limit people who are under the age.

I believe that myspace is not a good website anymore because there is a lot of gang violence that goes on and sometimes, myspace has alot to do with it.  Myspace seems as though it’s just a website that people go on to talk about people and do supercilious things because technically, they are bored with themselves.
